Your GPA is equal to the sum of the product of the credits per each course (cd) times the grade point average corresponding to the letter grade you received in those courses (cr), then divided by the sum of the credits:

How we Calculate GPA

Simply tell us if you got an A+, B, etc in each of your courses. We map your letter grade to a numeric value (GPA), and then use the credits for that course as a weight to find out the overall grade point average.

How To Raise Your GPA

There is no magic formula to suddenly elevate one's grade point average. As with most things, you simply need to put in the work e.g. dedicated study time, getting adequate sleep the night before exams, and not missing class/lectures. Some students may grasp concepts more easily than others, but ground can be made up by following the aforementioned habits. Dedicate more study time to the courses that you're performing the weakest in. Don't be shy or embarrassed to ask your professor questions in front of the class. Other pupils likely have the same questions, but may not be courageous enough to ask openly. Openly inquiring about concepts you are struggling with helps everybody in the class.
